Josh Humbrecht received his J.D. in 2009 from Southern Illinois University School of law where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.  During law school he was active in trial advocacy and committed to experiencing the legal profession.  He began working as a law clerk with Hassakis & Hassakis, P.C. in 2008 and was offered a position as an associate upon graduation.  In 2014, Josh became a partner with the firm.  Josh has successfully tried civil and workers’ compensation cases and argued appeals to the Illinois’ Workers’ Compensation Commission and the 5th District Appellate Court.   Josh was also recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2014 and 2016 and by Leading Lawyer’s Magazine as an Emerging Lawyer in 2014, 2015, and 2016. He was profiled by Emerging Lawyer’s several years ago.

Hometown Biography:  Josh grew up in New Lenox, Illinois where he graduated from Lincoln Way High School.  He is married to Monika Humbrecht and they currently live in Mt. Vernon, Illinois with their 3 children.
